The couple got married the next year, in 1967, in a short ceremony that ran about eight minutes. I mean get under his skin. The book contained the star's letters to his pen pal, Montez, throughout the 1960s and 1970.
One of which detailed Brando's worry about Presley's fear about his sexuality.
The letter, dated February 1969, disclosed that the late rocker suffered a dreaded incident when unknown assailants attempted to kidnap him.
Her name was Lisa Marie Presley.
But their marriage did not go smoothly all the time. Elvis had affairs with more than one woman while he was married, which put stress on his marriage.
Brando was not the first person to make comments about Elvis' sexuality over the years.
Gerald Peters, Elvis' chauffeur and close friend, described the King as a "man's man".
He also alluded to the star's ambiguous sexuality, adding: "Although he loved Priscilla dearly, he preferred the company of men." He also stressed how much Elvis loved hanging out with his large entourage of male friends: The Memphis Mafia.
Elvis biographer Kathleen Tracy also claimed the King would, on occasion, ask his best friend, actor Nick Adams, to stay with him overnight.
“What I think really attracted him to me was the fact that I was the listener,” she revealed. While he had cheated on his wife in the past - most notably with actress Ann-Margret - Brando mused that the star "didn't have it in him anymore".
"Now Elvis," he wrote. As he also became a sex symbol for women when he was still alive, he did not get the chance to explore his true identity.
Was Elvis Presley Gay or Bisexual?
It seemed like Brando was not the only one who made comments on Presley's sexuality.
As quoted by chauffeur and close friend Gerald Peters, the King of Rock and Roll was reportedly a man's man.
"Although he loved Priscilla dearly, he preferred the company of men," he said, per Express.
Meanwhile, David Bowie said in 1972 that if Presley's image was not bisexual, then he did not know what was.

His sexuality was questioned even more as his song, "Jailhouse Rock," talked about prison sex scenarios. They got to know each other while using drugs and alcohol, but their friendship was more than just that.
There were reports that both Elvis and Nick often got together with female groupies and actresses in groups of three.
Also, there are claims from different people, including Nick Adams’ helper, William Dakota, that Elvis and Nick had oral sex together.
But it’s important to remember that most of these claims and rumors about Elvis and Nick’s friendship are based on guesses.
Presley Had Doubts About His Sexuality
Marlon Brando said that Elvis was scared and had mental problems during a hard time in his life.
"The first thing he thought about was: ‘Who am I going to f**k today?' even if there was a woman sleeping beside him."

Mann added that Brando "casually slept with men" while at Shattuck Military academy.
He wrote: "The relationship was nothing extraordinary; sexual play between cadets at military schools was not uncommon."
Brando himself once said: "Let’s say sex has no sex."
So then, he may have been on to something about Elvis' "latent" sexuality.
He recorded at Sun Records with producer Sam Phillips, who wanted more people to hear the sound of African-American music.
Was Elvis Presley Gay?
Elvis Presley never said out loud what his sexual preference was, so he never confirmed he was straight or said he was gay. But if you look at his past relationships, which were all with women, it seems like Elvis may have been straight.
He also had a daughter with his ex-wife, which is proof that he had straight relationships.
His Closest Friend Was Gay
Nick Adams, an actress who was known to be gay, was a close friend of Elvis’s.
He had a little bit of softness in him, which made people think he was a woman.
If you want to know whether he was gay or not.
Priscilla, starring Spaeny and Jacob Elordi as Elvis, is currently in theaters. The problems in their marriage got too bad, and in February 1972, they chose to end their marriage.
His Relationships in the Past
During his life, Presley had a number of romantic connections, including one with the Canadian actress Anne Helm.
His facial features and singing skills even made him outshine other people.
However, Presley developed a fear during the toughest times of his life.
Gary Lindberg's book "Brando on Elvis: In His Own Words" revealed bombshell information about Presley and iconic Hollywood star, Marlon Brando.
“It was not a sexual relationship, being 14 years old.”
In fact, it seems like their dynamic was more friendly than anything else.
"Partly out of morality, and partly out of fear, won't turn to another woman, and he seems to fear other men."
Finally, he added that he believed Elvis was doubting his own sexuality.

Brando wrote: "He's being churned up inside until he fears himself.
The Sofia Coppola-directed movie Priscilla, for example, was based on Priscilla’s memoir, Elvis and Me. He noted how she "could have been the one" to help him get over his trauma from the past.
Brando added: "He's just begun to find himself as a man.
