While not an exclusively gay hotel, Villa Premiere is one of Puerto Vallarta’s most romantic adults-only boutique resorts and has a well-earned reputation for being very LGBTQ+ friendly.

Just a short walk from the Malecón and a quick ride to Zona Romántica, it’s perfect if you want to enjoy the gay nightlife but retreat to a quieter, more upscale setting at the end of the night.

This place was beyond nice!

Ot’s dog friendly, so Puglo was able to join us, which made it even better. Every room has a sleep kit for guests which they are welcome to keep and take home. Staff are known for being welcoming and inclusive, and the atmosphere is relaxed, making it a comfortable choice for same-sex couples or groups of friends.

If you’re looking for value and convenience, Crown Paradise Golden gives you plenty of amenities without the higher price tag of boutique gay resorts in the Romantic Zone.

Hotel Mousai

Hotel Mousai sets the standard for modern luxury with its all-inclusive, adults-only policy.

These resorts suit gay travelers who want a luxury stay without being right in the center of the action but close enough to head out when it suits them.

Almost every gay hotel in Puerto Vallarta has a pool, many of them rooftop, and swim-up bars are standard. The property has received a prestigious MICHELIN Guide key award for 2024 and 2025, making it one of the most sought-after properties in Puerto Vallarta to stay at.

This family-run hotel was once a villa purchased by the famous Hollywood star Richard Burton as a gift for his wife and was a popular international glitterati vacation spot!

Clean, modern and the location was excellent for what we were needing.

The turtles in the front of the property was a nice touch. – Arathi (read more reviews here).

The on-site golf course and organic garden supplying fresh herbs for the resort’s restaurants add to its allure.

Crown Paradise Golden All Inclusive Resort

While not an exclusively gay property, Crown Paradise Golden is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort that has become a favorite among LGBTQ+ travelers who want the full resort experience at a more affordable price point.

The owners are part of the community and go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome, whether you’re traveling solo or with a partner.

Because it’s smaller than the big resorts, Piñata has a more personal touch—you’ll quickly get to know other guests, share drinks by the pool, and probably leave with a few new friends.

I’ve only ever heard positive feedback from other travelers who’ve stayed there.

Rooms at Tryst are modern and comfortable, designed with upscale finishes and all the amenities you’d expect from a luxury boutique property. Located in the Hotel Zone, it’s about a 10-minute drive to Zona Romántica, so you can easily enjoy the gay nightlife while still having a spacious beachfront resort to return to.

The resort offers multiple pools, several restaurants and bars, and direct beach access—perfect if you like the idea of combining Puerto Vallarta’s gay scene with a more traditional all-inclusive vacation.

It’s a great choice if you want the convenience of being close to Puerto Vallarta’s gay nightlife but also the option to relax by the pool or retreat to a quiet, well-appointed room at the end of the night.

It’s a great choice if you want an authentic, community-driven gay stay in Puerto Vallarta.

Villa David

Villa David is Puerto Vallarta’s longest-operating gay Bed and Breakfast operating since 1988, and it is one of the top gay-friendly hotels in Puerto Vallarta!

This gorgeous hacienda-style mansion features several rooms with daily maid service, AC, Flat-screen TV, WiFi, a safe, beach towels, and an extended continental breakfast.

Furnished in old world antiques, luxury linens, serene environment with lush gardens and trickling fountains with pampering service.

Suites at the hotel are therefore unique, luxury, serene and traditional in their style and have a romantic atmosphere, perfect for honeymooners and couples looking to relax. The hotel offers a curated selection of activities, 24-hour room service, and ocean-view suites.

Service and amenities were exceptional.

The views are absolutely stunning, the staff were welcoming, and the atmosphere was so fun. Unlike many USA hotels, pets aren’t as welcome in Puerto Vallarta; however, seven properties are on our list where they’re as welcome as yours.

All-inclusive packages are popular at gay hotel Puerto Vallarta options. I would definitely recommend this property and would love to come back.
